Genre Lock: Visual Consistency Across Your World

Nothing breaks immersion faster than inconsistent artwork. If you are running a grounded, modern survival world, a sudden manifestation of an oil-painted, high-fantasy wizard will immediately shatter the atmosphere.

To prevent this, the Art Forge employs a powerful, silent feature known as Genre Lock. This ensures every portrait and item forged feels like it belongs in the exact same published rulebook.

1. The Codex Connection

The Art Forge does not guess what your world looks like; it knows.

When you define your world's setting in the Codex, whether it is a gritty 1920s detective noir, a bright and optimistic space opera, or a grimdark fantasy realm, the Art Forge locks onto that aesthetic. It uses your Codex as the absolute truth for all visual generation.

There are no confusing style menus to navigate or complex visual tags to remember. The Art Forge simply reads your world's rules and perfectly aligns the artwork to match.

2. Preventing Anachronisms

Because of Genre Lock, you never have to worry about anachronisms slipping into your compendium.

If you forge a "heavy blade" in a traditional fantasy setting, the Art Forge will produce a gleaming, rune-etched broadsword. If you forge that exact same "heavy blade" in a cyberpunk setting, Genre Lock ensures it is forged as a glowing, neon-lit plasma cutter or a mechanical vibro-sword. The Art Forge inherently understands context.

3. Shifting the Aesthetic

Your world's visual style is entirely in your control, and it can evolve alongside your story.

Dynamic Adaptation

If your world slowly transitions from a standard medieval adventure into a realm of cosmic horror, simply update your Codex to reflect the new, darker atmosphere. The Art Forge will instantly adapt its Genre Lock, naturally casting deeper shadows, adding unnatural fog, and shifting its style to match the creeping dread of your new narrative direction.
